Originally scored for keyed bugle solo, flute, clarinet, two horns, bassoon, two trumpets, timpani, drums and strings. The score is found in the British Museum and was written in January 1823 and dedicated to V. Leixner. Kuffner wrote operas, overtures, solo pieces and works for military band.
