A really beautiful piece of music, this was originally written by John Hewitt (called the Bard of the South) and arranged for the 26th NC Band by William Hartwell of the 16th Mississippi Regimental band who served as a music teacher and provided arrangements for the 26th NC Band. 
It was arranged by Jari Villanueva for Quintet Optional Parts for F Horn and Eb Cornet are provided
